Whew!  It's done!  The album for a client I mean. So that means that.... heaven forbid...  I was able to spend some time working on some things for myself!   Yea!

I left the floor that needs to be washed, the laundry that needs to be put away, and the weeds that need to be pulled to spend yesterday scrapping and making a Father's Day card for my dad.  Sometimes you just have to let something go by the wayside.

Started with a card for my dad, have to get that and some photos of Miss Izzie in the mail to him today.

Just used some of the leftovers from the page layout I did a couple of weeks ago about him, layered them and added a gold ribbon and a chunky black flower.  All papers are from Bo Bunny; flower and pearls are from Prima; and the little alphabet stickers are Cosmo Chricket's Tiny Type (gosh I love those little alpha's--have them in every color!!!).

Then I scrapped Mizz Izzie bath photos (f. r. o .m. S. E. V. E. N. months ago).  I've had these papers set aside for this layout for months and am just now getting around to putting it together.

Had the darndest time getting the right color of pink to go with that baby bath towel. Pink is not just pink. Most of the pink papers I tried were too peachy, some were to mauve-y. OMG!

I finally grabbed the Little Yellow Bicycle Valentine's collection and found that this worked.  Although by the time I picked that up, there were only a couple of sheets left of it.  Then I shopped my stash.  So this layout is a conglomeration of LYB, some Pitter Patter from Making Memories, and a snippet or two from Basic Grey.  Did not have a clue where I was going with it all, just started slicing and laying it down.

Boy, do I hate my handwriting (or printing, whatever).  I feel like I need to get a tablet of that lined paper we all had to use as kids.  You know, the stuff with the dashed middle line that we had to practice cursive handwriting on.  Anyway, is there any hope to practice handwriting and improve it at this late date, or is this scribble, just the way it is?
