It's not exactly back to school time, but I thought I had better give equal time to putting together some pages for my grandson.  I am working on his school photos for his school book (seeing as how he is still resisting getting his picture taken , I guess old Nana is going to have to get sneakier with the camera!). This was his eighth grade picture, I have his freshman picture, some sports shots, Christmas, and the photos of he and baby sister when she was tiny; but that's it!  I am so sad he doesn't want his picture taken anymore.

Used a mish mash of Basic Grey's older Recess line.  I so loved that school themed collection.  So cool that they took it in another direction, other than apples and chalkboards! I am looking forward to getting their new Oxford line for use with his high school photo(s).

Truly, I just cut these papers into pieces and then put them back together as a large 11x11 square within the 12x12 cardstock base.  Added the title, a piece of 7 Gypsies tape, part of a Moxxie 6x6 diecut, a punched border and some buttons (am big on buttons it seems right now).  That was it!  Love it when everthing just comes together!  The facing page will have either a photo copy of one of his homework assignments or a copy of a report card from the year.  All  of his school photos and a sample of some sort from each grade goes into one album for him.
