Her first shoes.  Were Nikes.  Her big brother picked them out.

U-m-m-m-m-m.   He didn't want a baby sister or brother, remember?  He was perfectly happy being an only child, he said.  Right up until she came home from the hospital.  And that, was that.

I am getting there--these photos are only a couple of months old.  Well, ok, they are from 4 months ago.  She has already outgrown the little white and pink Nikes.  These were the photos I thought I lost somewhere on my desk.   They turned up in the back pocket of my tote.  (Another reason to keep the photos with the papers, in my page planners, which obviously I did not this time!)

Actually didn't have to dig through my paper stash for this layout and used some of the new Basic Grey Sweet Threads (oops!) Hello Luscious papers.  I cut out the flowers and I did use some really old gemstone thing-ys that I had purchased before there was such a thing as the stick on gems that are so widely available now.  Yeah, really. Once upon a time there were not stick-y on gems!  I purchased these from a tiny little craft store for use in creating ATC's and collage art, gosh I hate to admit how long ago (maybe like 9 years ago).   So  I thought I should really use them up and just went ahead and piled them on the flower centers.  And yes, these all  have to be glued on individually.

The other add-ons are a piece of ribbon, some Bazzill cardstock, and a length of ticket stubs.  The pink alpha set is Basic Grey, but from an older collection.  Punches are from EK, their embossed scallop border punch and their curvy photo corner punch (no longer available--unfortunately--this is a great punch--hopefully it reappears in their new flat punch style).

Sorry about the photo quality.  After a sublime, perfect weather weekend, today is yet another gray day here and I had to hurry up and take my pics quick before it rains!  (Have to come up with another place to take photos of  pages other than the front porch!)

Happy Monday!
