Ugh, between computer glitches, a deadline, and a new part time job (not the full time one I am really after --but will do what I need to do in the meantime), I just haven't paid any attention to my poor lonely blog. But, here I am and with a layout too!
Of course I did NOT manage to get a good straight on photo of the layout. You know how some days it just seems like absolutley nothing will go right? --- well, there have been numerous obstacles to everything these past couple of weeks. Nothing is easy right now, not even taking a quick photo of a page layout. So there you go, what do you do when there seem to be such insurmountable obstacles to even the simplest of tasks? I guess you just do what you can and keep going.
Another photo of little Miss Izzy from her one year photo session. This is the look when she encounters someone new or a new sitiuation, very studied, taking everything in. So serious.
This time I used some of the Origins line from Basic Grey. Loved the yellow, the touches of greens and the kick of the small touches of dark, dark brown. I added a large chipboard and paper die cut flower, a couple of dimensional stickers from the collection, some punched circles, some penned in stitch lines and a couple of punched border pieces. The title is Basic Grey, but I believe it was from their last year's Christmas line, Jovial. The green was perfect with this line too!
