Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Another of my favorite older layouts.

My nieces set up an impromptu photo shoot and had the best time posing. I just love the expressions on their faces! They are the best! These are my favorite photos of them.

My sister emailed a bunch of the resulting shots to me (they are in California and I am in Wisconsin--isn't email just grand!) and then I was able to put together a two-page layout. (2nd page follows this post) Then I scanned the layouts and emailed them back to California. So even though my sister and I cannot sit in the same room to scrap together, we still get to share photos, layouts and everyday life!

I ended up framing this first page and sending it to my sister this past Christmas, so now I'll have to make another one for my album.

Papers used are from Fiskars Cloud 9, I added some chipboard flowers the same colection and a couple of Sizzix daisy diecuts.

Favorites..

Since I feel the need to post something fun to look at, here's a favorite layout of mine. It's an older layout from last year but features one of my favorite companies, Basic Grey! Their Urban Prairie papers and Prima flowers were a perfect match for a picture of my old kitty Beepers . She so loved to sit amongst all my papers and supplies. So here's to you Beeps!

Connected...

So I have bounced from here to wordpress and back again. I really do have to just commit and stick to it!

Since my years as an admin assistant (it seems like a century ago) I have truly lost touch with the computer world. But, I do so enjoy other blogs and feel compelled to create my own little corner to share. Between spending a little more time studying up, the improvements made on blogger making this all easier and some help from my friends, I am once again going to try and stay "connected".
